Withdrawals and deposits FAQs

a)  Login to your account and click on your profile using the < arrow.

b)  Click on 'View more options to manage funds' and select ‘Withdraw Funds.'

c)  Input the amount you wish to withdraw and click ‘Proceed’.

Once you have submitted your request our payments team will process your withdrawal and send you a confirmation email.

How do I make a withdrawal?

Where possible, to minimise the risk that our services are used to facilitate money laundering, we will return your funds back to the account or card from which they were deposited. To guard against financial crime, we may ask you for further information or documentation, such as a bank statement, before we process your withdrawal.

If you believe that we will be unable to return your funds to their original source, perhaps because the credit card has been cancelled or the bank account closed, you should call our Customer Service team on +44 (0) 207 392 1494 to discuss the withdrawal process. In this event, it is likely that extra documentation will be required before the withdrawal can be processed.

Where will my funds be returned to & how long does it take for me to receive them?

For withdrawals under £100, or currency equivalent, there is a standard processing fee of £10.

ETX Capital will offer each client five withdrawals for any amount over £/$/€100 each calendar month without a processing fee. Due to fees ETX Capital incurs when processing withdrawals, clients who withdraw funds more than five times in a calendar month will incur a charge of £10 for each subsequent withdrawal – clients will not be charged retrospectively for the previous five withdrawals.

What deposit methods do you accept?

Inactivity charges

Inactivity charges on dormant accounts

A monthly inactivity charge may be deducted for a dormant account where funds are available. As a fully CySec-regulated broker, ETX Capital imposes these charges to prevent money laundering. For this purpose, an account shall be considered dormant or inactive if there has been no other trading activity for a continuous period of six months or more.

The inactivity charge will be €25 (or equivalent currency). Inactive accounts will be charged at the discretion of ETX Capital based on a number of factors regarding the account. 

The monthly inactivity charge will be deducted from a dormant account, until either (i) you recommence trading activity on the respective account, (ii) the balance of the account is reduced to zero, or (iii) the account is closed by you or ETX Capital.

Once the balance of a dormant account has reached zero, ETX Capital will not deduct further monthly inactivity charges from the dormant account. A dormant account will not incur a negative balance as a result of the deduction of the monthly inactivity charge. For the avoidance of doubt, the inactivity charge will be applied on a Client ID basis.

If you decide to reactivate your account by trading again, the inactivity charge for up to three (3) previous months where this has already been deducted will be refunded to your account.
